Happy Friday!  Here are some things I've been loving!

Favorite Trend

white-on-white-on-white  Is anyone else loving this?  It makes it so easy to get dressed but it looks like you really had to plan!  My insta faves:

Favorite New (to me) Handbag

For years I've been eying the Marc by Marc Jacobs Classic Q Hillier Hobo but just cannot justify the price tag.  I needed a new summer bag and found this Michael Kors number at Macy's and loved that it hit the high notes of the Marc Jacobs number and also fit in my budget!  My main requirement:  must be able to go on the shoulder and turn into a cross-body!

Favorite Easy Weeknight Meal

Made Real Simple's Post Sticker Salad this week and it satisfied both husband and myself!  I left out the bean sprouts but it was still fantastic.  Definitely on the rotation for our house!

 Favorite Tank on Repeat

If you are a Knoxvillian or Tennessean check out this store:  Nothing Too Fancy.  They have an adorable shop in Knoxville but you can order online too.  They are chockfull of cute vintage-looking graphic tees and they are so soft!  Even if you don't want a local goodie, check out their website.  There are non location specific items too:  USA tank, craft beer tee, Johnny Cash shirt to name a few.

GOIN' TO THE CHAPEL...

It's happening.  It's all happening!

Last night, my bff {J} and I picked up one of the bridesmaids at airport {the one who introduced M and I!} while three others arrived at J's house.  My sister {MOH} and niece arrived three days ago.  The bridesmaid brunch is in t-minus 3 hrs. 

It's all happening!

I can't believe that my wedding is tomorrow.  This planning period has gone by so viciously quickly considered I had to wait four and a half years for that ring!

I plan to try and remain calm, cry as little as possible, soak in every moment and of course drink champagne at every turn and opportunity!  I can't wait to get back and do a plethora of wedding posts.

It's been awhile since I did a favorites but here are a few things I've been loving lately:

Favorite New Outfit

I'll be debuting this one tomorrow at the Country Music Marathon.  Brooks shoes, nike shirt and shorts - love being matchy matchy on race day {wish me luck}!

Favorite Polish

I am obsessed with this nudey-peachy color.  This brand is new to me, Motives by Loren...the color {Girl Next Door} is unavailable online but my lovely nail chick let me buy it from her for $4!  Sold!

Favorite Twist

J.Crew chino shorts - no brainer - love!  But I've had trouble lately feeling like I'm too old for the 3" shortie shorts and not mom enough for the 5"ers.  Enter...4" chinos!  This lengths is perfect but only available online.  I ordered Ornament Orange and Shadow for the h-moon.

Favorite Project

Prepare for an epic wedding reveal post on my invites...until now stick with this teaser.  Mom and I devoted a whole Sunay and a half to these and I am in love!

Favorite Obsession

Buying clothes for my new {1 month old} niece!  I can't stop.  Kohl's has adorable things and they're always on sale!  Pictured above are my latest indulgences - don't you just want to scream!?

This is not a fun Friday for me...I had to go back to school from Winter Break.  Boo!  Nonetheless, it's been awhile since my last Friday Favorites so here goes:

Favorite Premier

Project Runway All-Stars!  I am so excited to see some of my past favs back.

 

I'll be rooting for Mondo and Kenley.

I'm also excited to see Austin in action as I wasn't a PR fan during his season.

*NOTE* I wrote this post before I watched the episode - WHERE ARE HEIDI, TIM, MICHAEL AND NINA!?!?!?  Is anyone else blindsided and totally crushed by this!?

Favorite New Baubles

I got two fabulous statement necklaces at Francesca's winter sale for a total of $16 {originally $62 total}

Favorite New Lunch

Homemade Pita Pit:  Whole wheat pita, turkey, {1 slice of} cheese, lettuce and some sliced green olives.  Its a great alternative to a regular sandwich and fits nicely with my new {healthy} eating habits.

Favorite Blog

This isn't a new favorite, but if you haven't read it - go here now!  This is a blog {supposedly} written by Suri Cruise; she shares her disdain for Kate and Tom, passion for fashion, and fear of other A-List celeb babies from Beyonce or Kate Middleton.

Favorite Scents

Candles.  I just can't get enough.  I put away my Christmas-y smelling candles and have been looking for their replacements.  Voluspa has become my go-to brand.  The packaging is gorgeous, the plethora of scents gives a great range to choose from, and they burn very well. Go here to find a retailer near you or shop at Anthropologie online.

My current faves are Crisp Champagne and Suede Blanc.  I want to try the diffusers next!

Well it's that time again - FRIDAY!  Another week ticked off on my way to Christmas Break...too soon?

Favorite Pick-Me-Up

Christmas decor is finally starting to show up (yeah right it's been there since July 4th)!  Although I don't allow myself to personally indulge in Christmas cheer until after Thanksgiving, I can't say I hate seeing it in stores and hearing the music and then there's the red cups.  I do still wish they wouldn't put it out so early - it seems to lose its magical sparkle.  

Favorite OCD Accessory

I picked up this tip on the (un)official J.Crew Blog.  It's a website and an app.

 

TeuxDeux - "French" for to-do.  I love how simple and easy to use this to-do list is!  You can categorize your tasks by day and drag them around to prioritize.  And when you're done, you have that satisfactory crossing-off line!  Best Part?  There's a Someday section - travel abroad, run the NYC marathon, organize my closet... The list and website automatically link so you're up to date no matter what technology you're on.  This has been awesome for wedding planning.

Favorite Old but New

One of my first blog posts ever sited my find of the website Ebates.  I signed up back in June and  recently cashed my first check!!!  Don't get too excited, it was only for $7.70 but hey that is FREE MONEY!  It'll buy two starbucks.  :)

Favorite New Blog/Fashion Inspiration

Atlantic-Pacific.  I am loving this chick's fearless style.  She's not afraid to layer or mix prints and I want all of her wardrobe.  She's got a look that is preppy but super fresh!  Here's one of my favorites that I want to recreate.

The best part is that she incorporates a ton of pieces from BR, Gap, J.Crew and Zara so her looks seem achievable for a teacher's budget.

Favorite Holiday Channel

Who doesn't love ABC Family around the holidays?  First, 13 Nights of Halloween.  I had the joy of watching Christina Ricci in Casper (hello Devon Sawa) and Addams Family.  It's a classic flashback.  Now it's almost time for Countdown to 25 Days of Christmas.

Game Day!  This weekend is my first game day of the year.  The weather is set to be a heart-stopping 79 degrees!  GoVOLS!

Brian Regan.  He's hilar!  I love his pg comedy that is down right funny.  It's super quotable too and seems to apply to everyday life.  Definitely checkout his first album: You Too.  M and I are seeing him tonight!

This is my last weekend of freedom before I officially get back in the grind of the school year.  I'll be spending it with my best friends for a wedding in Nashville.  We've decided to ditch the dudes and go stag to this one.  I am so excited about the girls weekend I can barely type!  But first, my favorites:

Favorite ESPN Staffer:

Gracie!  I am so proud of my sweet friend...she's the one who introduced M and I and now she's in the big leagues with Erin Andrews and Kirk Herbstreit.  Seriously - she knows them.

Favorite Back to School Supply:

Sharpie Pens!  They DON'T BLEED through the paper.  I loved having these last year in black and blue but now they're available in purple, green, red and orange too!  I'd highly recommend these for anyone who writes (aka everyone).

Favorite Craft Supply:

If you haven't heard of Pick Your Plum, check it out here.  On Tuesday, I scored 9 yards of elastic for only $2.70!

This American Life - a collection of NPR episodes. M and I have gotten hooked for road trips! Definitely try "The Good Ole Boys" and "Georgia Rambler".

Favorite Nail Colour:

I'm Wired - from Sephora by OPI. Just a great bright, almost neon, pink!

DVR - I don't know how I lived without it for two years. Latest win: got a good nights sleep last night and I'll still be able to watch the Project Runway premiere!

MY LATEST FINDS

I am loving these new (to me) goodies!

 

 Emi-Jay hair ties.  Love.  They are such a cute way to pull your hair back.  They come in a million and five colors (including a USA combo).  I bought one in a store in Green Hills Mall to see if I liked it before committing and I just ordered a 5 pack from the Emi-Jay website.

Mr. Pumice is my new best friend.  Let me tell you that the best pedicure I've ever received was free..from my mother.  She is a maniac about her nail tools and is always looking for the best thing to clean up that dead skin.  She found this at Sally Beauty and after trying hers I went out and bought one.  Best part?  The price - $2.69.

This isn't new to me, but I love to share the gospel with any given chance.  I have had struggled with acne since my teens.  I tried every prescription the dermatologist threw at me and had some pretty gross reactions to topical gels.  In December after dropping another $100+ on some new miracle acne solution I gave up and tried something simple.  Clinique.  I have had clear skin now for 6 months and counting.  AMAZE.  If you have any acne woes, try this.  You will not be disappointed.

These things are the bomb.com.  Having a dog with big paws, my walls sometimes get marked up when Max tries to make an escape.  The magic eraser takes it off in one quick swipe.
